Variohm Holdings Ltd is a group of engineering companies specialising in Sensors, Switches, Motion Control and Systems. The individual companies within the group act with great autonomy but have access to shared expertise and resources. The Variohm Group is represented by its companies in Germany, England and USA and the products are delivered worldwide. Together, about 500 people work to provide you with the perfect solution for your application. Our products are supplied to a wide variety of industries. These include industry, medical technology, vehicle manufacturing, renewable energy, aerospace and motorsports.
Eurosensor
Variohm EuroSensor is a manufacturer and supplier of sensor solutions with locations in Heidelberg, Germany and Towcester, England. Its sensors are used in aerospace, motorsport, industrial and automotive applications. Variohm EuroSensor has in-house design and manufacturing capabilities and offers customizable sensor solutions for small to medium volumes.
Herga Technology Ltd
Herga Technology manufactures switches, including foot switches, hand controls, and pressure and vacuum switches, and has facilities in Heidelberg, Germany, and Bury St. Edmunds, England. The switches are electric, pneumatic, USB, Bluetooth or infrared. The products are most commonly used in medical applications such as laser treatments or varicose vein removal. Herga Technology recycles plastic waste and operates as paperless as possible.
Heason Technology Ltd
Heason Technology can provide complete motion solutions. They are able to custom design and build motors and actuators. Various components and complete systems are on call at their warehouse in Sinfold, England. For example, Heason manufactures wind measurement systems used to increase wind farm yields.
Ixthus Instrumentation
Ixthus Instrumentation offers, among other things, customized complete solutions and non-contact sensors. Like Variohm EuroSensor, Ixthus Instrumentation is also based in Towcester, England. Ixthus' products are used in harvesters, in turbine maintenance and to help astronauts practice life in space.
Positek Limited
Positek Limited of Cheltenham, England manufactures high performance, high quality position sensors. They offer a comprehensive range of submersible sensors and sensors that may be used in hazardous areas. It is also possible, with short lead times, to have replacement products manufactured for other brands. Among other things, Positek's products help send rockets into space and ensure that supermarket cookies are uniformly thick.
Limitor
Limitor produces protection elements, timers, thermal sensors and other electronic components at its sites in Pécs, Hungary and Urbach, Germany. Due to the production capacities there, they have short delivery times. The high quality standard is guaranteed by testing every single switch before it leaves the warehouse. Customized parts development, even for smaller series, is also possible here. Limitor products are encountered every day in many household appliances, such as coffee machines, hair dryers and vacuum cleaners.
Phoenix America
Phoenix America, based in Indiana, USA, is a leading manufacturer of magnetic encoders and magnetic sensing solutions. The products are used in a wide variety of applications such as electric motors, agriculture, medical, industrial, and elevator controls.
Control Products, Inc.
CPI sells rugged and electromechanical component solutions, such as linear position sensors, waterproof switches, and thermal switches, and is based in New Jersey, USA. CPI's products are used, for example, in the environmental control system in Boeing jets or are used in submarines.
Magnasphere Corporation
Magnasphere is the newest member of the Variohm Group and a developer and manufacturer of high-performance magnetic sensors and switches for industrial electronics markets. Based in Wisconsin, USA, the company specializes in the security sector. Its products are therefore designed for various alarm systems. Whether for a private home, a government facility or in (special) vehicles.
